Harry and Meghan’s kids passed the skin color test and got their royal titles. Ha!
If you’re familiar, Meghan Markle told Oprah the royals wouldn’t give her kids royal titles if she and Harry’s kids’ skin color were too dark.
Of course the kids would get appropriate royal titles regardless of their skin color. That whole thing was fabricated by Meghan. Harry just went along with it because how was he going to call her out on her lie in an Oprah interview?
Why Do Meghan & Harry Want Royal Titles for Their Kids?
Because of Harry and Meghan’s hatred of the monarchy many question whether or not the kids should have been given royal titles (as well as wanting Meghan and Harry to relinquish theirs).
The kids–Archie and Lilibet– are now officially Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex. Interestingly, Meghan and Harry have made it clear that they despise the monarchical system. On the other hand, they said the titles are the children’s birthright.
If the system is so awful and the royal family racist, why would you want your kids connected to it? Of course there’s no need to ask. It’s obvious.
Meghan and Harry are all about the royal titles, but not the duties and responsibilities that come with the titles. And honestly, I think it’s Meghan. Harry’s grown up with a royal title. It’s no big deal to him. I think he’d be willing to let go of his title if his wife wanted him to because he’d blindly follow her anywhere.
I think Meghan’s the one who wants the titles because she knows the power of having such titles. In her Oprah interview, she said she could care less about titles. But clearly, she does care–as long as she and her family can have the titles but not the obligations that come with serving a monarchy.
If it weren’t for her marrying a man with the royal title of Prince, Oprah Winfrey nor Tyler Perry (who’s also Princess Lillibet’s godfather) would have befriended her so easily.
Yes, indeed, a royal title will get you everywhere.
